From the second issue of the great monster mag, "Castle of Frankenstein," published in 1962, comes this photo-heavy feature on "The Many Faces Of Christopher Lee." I consider myself very lucky to have this issue!

I have a copy of this issue which I bought at a comic convention in Boston in the mid-80s. Seeing the cover brought back the unique smell that Castle of Frankenstein had. I don't know if it was the paper or the ink used in the print process, but it seemed like none of the other monster mags from this time smelled the same as CofF.
Castle of Frankenstein really was an awesome magazine. It was like a "grown-up" version of Famous Monsters. Certainly set the standards high for all subsequent monster mags!
